Family

I have a family. My family could be called a small family. Because my family consists of only 3 people. However, I am very happy living with my parents. I do not have a brother or a sister. Both my parents are very well. They love me with all their hearts. We lived in a house that is not too large. For us, it was enough and must be grateful.

My dad was the original sundanese. He comes from Banten and had go to school in Jakarta. He came to Jakarta himself by using train. In Jakarta, he stayed at his uncle's house because the school is located in Jakarta. Although he went to school, he decided to find a job. So, in addition to go to school he also worked. Salaries of his efforts to work, used to pay the tuition. Because he did not want to bother his parents or his uncle though.

My mother is a housewife. She comes from Jakarta and has 13 siblings. Yes, they are my uncles and aunts. My mother once proficient in cooking. Once, when I was in elementary school, my mother always drops off and picks me up. So, I am very grateful to her. She also can ride a motorcycle.

They really expect me to succeed. Behind my scores in exact subjects are bad, I was very eager to make them both proud of myself.

Unforgettable experience

I had an unforgettable experience while still at junior high school. Something bad, pathetic, weird, and maybe funny happened.

Well, when I was in the 2 nd grade of junior high school at 49 junior high school. Thus, the incident happened about 2 years ago. On a slightly overcast afternoon, the highway full of vehicles, I am still studying at the Nurul Fikri Guidance studied with some of my friends.

Kriiiiing!!! An hour later the doorbell rang and I prepared to go home, but I do not know if I'll be home by using public transport or not. And my friend who had white skin like an albino named Nayef take home with. For information, now Nayef attended the 68 senior high school. Not only with Nayef, but still there Hilmi and Maulana. Hilmi and Maulana usually use Kopaja, public transportation such as minibuses to go home. I was waiting for public transport numbered T11, but it was too long to wait. And finally I came home with Kopaja, who previously had never been used to. Four of us towards go to the same way home, but I will get off the Kopaja beside the others. Because my house closes to the Guidance.

Before getting off, the conductor had warned me to come down with a left foot. Although he had warned me, I ignore it. So, I went down with my right foot. And braaakkkk!! I fell down on. All the passengers looked at me with an expression of sympathy. But I just laughed as if nothing is undergoing an accident. And strangely, no injuries at all in my legs. It's just my school pants ripped. That's all.

Dormitory life

A boarding life. This is what I do at present. Since I went to school to MH Thamrin, I live in boarding. Boarding life means to live independently without parents and away from home. This school requires students to live in boarding. Not 'pesantren', this school is public school. But this is a super school.

I've lived in the dorm since 4 months ago. In fact, MH Thamrin students must live in the dormitory in 2010 but, in my opinion a new adaptation takes a long time. So, I prefer to stay in the dorm early. There's not only me who lived in the dorm early, but there are many others students just like me.

Every day, we always learn together, play together, and exercising together. We do many things together. Living in a dormitory meant to live socializing. We can't do anything at will. And we must be ready to share to everyone at any time.

In the dormitory, there are many kinds of rules that must be obeyed. But, because we who have lived in the dorms early don't currently required, so the rules in the dorm is still relatively spacious. As a result, many students are still not comply with the rules. Perhaps, I included in it. But later, during the life of boarding is required, the rules will be tightened. And punishment for violators would be increasingly exacerbated.

Living in the dormitory isn't as bad as we imagine. There is a woman who ready to assist boarding and substitute the mother's position during our stay in the dorm. We called her 'bundo'. Then, there are also a lot of friends who are ready to share and join us while we need. So, stay in the dorm is actually very fun and interesting.

School life

I am one of the SMANU MH Thamrin students. And SMANU MH Thamrin is one of the best schools in Jakarta. This school could also called the Olympic school, because the school construction is intended to produce children who are expected to reach the international Olympic medal. SMANU MH Thamrin almost the same as the BPK Penabur Brillian Class and also the SMAN 3 Jakarta Super Class. We are guided by 2 teachers in one lesson exact. They are 1 teacher from Yohanes Surya Institute and the rest of SMANU MH Thamrin.

Thus, school life here is very different to other regular schools in Jakarta. Every Monday, we always do reading cultural activities. As presented by the Governor of Jakarta on the day of inauguration of this school. Culture of reading also could be called as a substitute for Indonesian language teaching, because in this school do not learn the Indonesian language and citizenship education. But for the religious side, this school does not make religion as a lesson but as a habit that should be done every day.

Then, special exact lesson, we learned the full 8 hours a day. Exact lessons include math, biology, chemistry, and physics. Those lessons are usually contested. So we will focus on four such lessons.

Recess in the school, can be fairly short compared to other schools. We can only break in about 15 minutes. So you can imagine how busy our schedules tight.
